Flashback to the 2016 Loop the Lake Festival!
Festival Details
All skill levels can enjoy this bike ride around Lake Bemidji!
It is not a race but rather a festive event. Safety is a high priority. Wearing a helmet is strongly recommended.
Join us on Saturday, June 20, 2026 to celebrate biking in Bemidji. Registration covers the cost of food, photo ops and music.
The route starts at the South Shore Park and loops around Lake Bemidji. Stops are set up along the way! Enjoy music and food at Lake Bemidji State Park, a quick little snack break at Ruttger’s and other stops along the route to take great photos.
T-shirts are not included in the price of registration this year but you do have the option of adding it on to your registration cost if you register before June 1.

Refund Policy: Refunds must be requested prior to the early bird deadline, May 31st and a $5 fee will be charged. Name Changes or Shirt Size Changes: Any name or shirt size changes to registration must be requested prior to the early bird deadline, May 31st.
Delay and Cancel Decisions
Even though our steering committee has envisioned a beautiful summer day with light winds, sunshine and blue skies, we may not get what we want!
DELAY: Rolling start will be delayed up to 2 hours if there is rain, but the radar shows clearing within an hour or two, or if there is Watch or Warning that will expire. We will also delay if other circumstances warrant such action.
CANCEL: If weather conditions or other circumstances are such that the event cannot be held, the Loop the Lake Festival will be cancelled and no refunds will be issued.

2026 Rest Stop Menus
The 17-mile loop route begins at South Shore Beach, skirts the beautiful Lake Bemidji shoreline via the Westside Trail, Birchmont Dr., Birchmont Beach Rd into Lake Bemidji State Park, onto the Paul Bunyan Trail back to South Shore Beach.
Add to the enjoyment of the ride by stopping at stations along the way featuring food, music, and activities. Numbered items below correspond with numbers on map. Click each title for more information.
